The Oakland Raiders have placed defensive back Ron Bartell on injured reserve recall on Saturday and placed wide reciever Jacoby Ford on regular injured reserve.
Bartell has a broken shoulder blade and will miss at least six weeks on injured reserve, while Ford underwent surgery on his foot on Tuesday.
The Raiders promoted cornerback Coye Francies from their practice squad. He spent last season with the Cleveland Browns and was in camp with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Raiders also promoted long snapper Nick Guess from the practice squad after the mishaps last Monday against San Diego after regular snapper Jon Condo suffered a head injury.
