The Oakland Raiders have waived linebacker Aaron Curry, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Curry spent roughly a year in Oakland after being picked up from Seattle a year ago. The fourth overall pick in the 2009 draft had once been regarded as a can't miss prospect, but did not pan out with the Seahawks.
He had played well for the Raiders at times last year, but this year missed a lot of time with knee problems, sitting out the first eight games of the year before returning two weeks ago.
