Raiders sign Andre Gurode

The Oakland Raiders signed five-time Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode

Gurode last played for the Chicago Bears last season, active for games and not seeing any action.

Gurode has started 127 of 151 games in a decade in the NFL, including nine seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and one with the Baltimore Ravens.

The 6-foot-4, 318-pound Gurode was named to the Pro Bowl five straight seasons as a member of the Cowboys. He has started at least 13 games in eight of his previous 11 NFL seasons at both center and guard.

Gurode was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (37th overall) of the 2002 NFL draft out of Colorado, where he was a four-year starter and a first-team All-American as a senior.
