Raiders sign Tony Pashos, cut Alex Barron

The Oakland Raiders have signed veteran offensive tackle Tony Pashos and cut Alex Barron.

Pashos is heading into his 10th NFL season.

He has started 70 of 92 games played, lining up for the Ravens, Jaguars, 49ers and Browns.

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound Pashos was originally selected by the Ravens in the fifth round (173rd overall) of the 2003 NFL draft. He started 47 games at the University of Illinois, where he was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection.

Signed to the Raiders' practice squad: Chance Casey, Greg Jenkins, Shelton Johnson, Brian Leonhard,
Lamar Mady, Matt McCants and Marshall McFadden.
