St. Louis Rams running back Isaiah Pead injured his leg or knee without being touched during a kickoff return when he planted his left foot against the Green Bay Packers.
His knee bent awkwardly.
He was carted off.
Pead has rushed for 75 yards on 17 carrries for his career with 14 catches.
Pead is ranked behind Zac Stacy, Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham on the depth chart.
Pead is a 2012 second-round draft pick.
