Rams' Saffold has sprained MCL

Surgery won't be required for Rams' tackle. Terry McCormick

The St. Louis Rams got relatively good news regarding right tackle Roger Saffold on Tuesday.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Saffold, who suffered a knee injury Sunday against the Falcons suffered only a sprained medial collateral ligament. The injury won't require surgery, but Saffold is almost assuredly out for this week's game against the Cowboys.
