Jared Cook has ageed to a contract with the St. Louis Rams, a move that reunites him with the coach that drafted him back in 2009.
Cook was one of the most sought-after tight ends on the free agent market, and Jeff Fisher, whose Tennessee Titans traded back into the third round that year using a 2010 second-roudn choice, now has Cook back in the fold again.
The acquisition of Cook allows the Rams to try and keep pace with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, who both added offensive weapons Monday with the trades for Anquan Boldin and Percy Harvin, respectively.
Cook had tired of his role in the Tennessee offense, and was somewhat vocal about the situation at times last season.
