Rams tackle agrees to terms Aaron Wilson
The St. Louis Rams have finalized a four-year, $6.3 million contract with rookie second-round offensive tackle Rodger Saffold, a league source confirmed.
The deal includes nearly $3.9 million in guaranteed money.
Saffold was a four-year starter at left tackle at Indiana, but is projected to start at right tackle immediately for the Rams.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder was named second-team All-Big Ten last season for the Hoosiers and played in the East-West Shrine all-star game.
The Rams are still working on getting a deal done with their first-round draft pick: former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, the top overall selection of the draft.
