Fendi Onobun, 6th round pick, signs Brad Biggs
The St. Louis Rams are down to two draft picks now – the most important two – as they prepare for Year 2 of the Steve Spagnuolo era.
Tight end Fendi Onobun, a sixth-round draft pick out of Arizona Houston, has signed a four-year contract that includes a signing bonus of roughly $129,000, according to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports.
That leaves just quarterback Sam Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick, and offensive tackle Rodger Saffold, a second-round choice, as unsigned players. The Rams are hoping Saffold will challenge for the right tackle job in training camp with Jason Smith moving to left tackle. The line was an injured mess during the offseason.
Negotiations for Bradford commenced last Friday with agent Tom Condon. The Rams begin training camp July 28.
