Former Mizzou wide receiver signed Aaron Wilson
The St. Louis Rams have signed undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver Danario Alexander, an imposing former Missouri standout who has battled knee problems.
They made room for him on the roster by cutting wide receiver Brooks Foster.
The 6-foot-5, 221-pounder was an All-Big 12 selection last season, catching 113 passes for 1,781 yards and 14 touchdowns. He led all Football Bowl Subdivision players in receiving yards.
In four seasons with the Tigers, Alexander posted 191 receptions for 2,778 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Alexander was projected as a draft pick before undergoing surgery in February following the Senior Bowl.
