Third-round tight end agrees to terms Aaron Wilson
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens have struck a three-year deal with third-round tight end Ed Dickson, the team announced today.
Dickson received the standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000 and $490,000 as well as a $662,500 signing bonus, according to a league source.
The total value of the deal is $1.877 million.
Drafted 70th overall, the All-Pac 10 tight end caught 124 career passes for 1,557 yards and a dozen touchdowns.
He's Oregon's all-time leader at his position for receptions and receiving yards.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder is slated to compete with fourth-round tight end Dennis Pitta for playing time behind former Pro Bowl tight end Todd Heap.
The Ravens have two remaining unsigned draft picks: second-round selections Sergio Kindle and nose guard Terrence "Mount" Cody.
