The Baltimore Ravens have not yet held any talks with representatives for Anquan Boldin regarding the receiver's high base salary for 2013, reports the Baltimore Sun.
Boldin is scheduled to make $7.531 million for the coming season, and the Ravens are snug against the salary cap with plenty of other decisions to make regarding quarterback Joe Flacco, cornerback Cary Williams, safety Ed Reed and linebackers Dannell Ellerbe and Paul Kruger all at the end of their respective contracts.
With that in mind, if Boldin is unwilling to rework his deal, he could end up being a salary cap cut in Baltimore in order to free up money to be used elsewhere. If that were to happen, Boldin would have no trouble finding a new team to play for, as he proved himself still quite capable of being a go-to receiver, especially in clutch situations.
