Trio of veteran defensive backs tried out over past two days Aaron Wilson
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- By all accounts, veteran defensive backs Ken Hamlin, Ken Lucas and Walt Harris had a good tryout for the Baltimore Ravens over the past two days.
All three players moved around the field fairly fluidly and seemed to assimilate the defense quickly.
None were immediately signed, though.
"I would say that all three did very well," Harbaugh said. "All three looked like they could play in this league. Veteran corners, a veteran safety that have a lot left in the tank. What are the chances? I don’t know."
Hamlin has played safety for the past seven years for the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks.
"I thought it went well," Hamlin said. "I was running around playing football. I'd like to be a part of this team. It's a good opportunity."
The Ravens could use depth at cornerback.
Harris, 35, is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament that sidelined him last season with the San Francisco 49ers.
"I thought it went good," Harris said. "It's a matter of trying to get back into the groove of things and plant. My knee felt good."
Lucas played last season for the Seattle Seahawks, his second stint with them. He has also played for the Carolina Panthers.
"It was a pretty good two days," Lucas said. "For the way they play the game, you would want to play for a team like this."
