Ravens in wait-and-see mode on McClain

The Baltimore Ravens will allow the due process of the law to run its course rather than making a snap decision on newly acquired linebacker Rolando McClain, according to the Baltimore Sun.

<p> McClain, who signed with the Ravens after being released in part by the Oakland Raiders because of two arrests, was arrested over the weekend and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in his hometown of Decatur, Ala. It was his third arrest in 16 months.

“There is due process on this, and we are paying attention to that,” Ravens senior vice president for public and community relations Kevin Byrne told the newspaper.

McClain had vowed to stay out of Decatur, but the latest incident, which sparked speculation that his stay with the Ravens might be a short one, occurred in a park in the city. He was released on $1,000 bond, though that bond could be revoked due to the two previous arrests.
