Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta suffered a dislocated hip in Saturday's practice and will be out an extended period of time, per the Baltimore Sun.

There are other reports that indicate that Pitta could be lost for the season. Aaron Wilson of the Sun tweeted that Pitta is undergoing surgery tonight for the injury and will likely be out several months at the very least.

“We’ll have to take a look and see exactly what it is,” Ravens coach Harbaugh said. “It’s a serious injury. He is going to be out for a while. He will not be in the Denver game and we’ll just have to play it from there to see how long it goes.”
