The Ravens announced that they've signed five players on Friday, including cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Dominique Franks.
In addition to the two corners, the Ravens signed outside linebacker Nicholas DiMarco, linebacker Austin Spitler and receiver Mike Willie. Of the signees, DiMarco is the only rookie of the bunch, having attended William Penn for college.
Ross and Franks stand to have the highest likelihood of latching on to the 53-man roster, with Ross potentially competing to earn the third cornerback spot in nickel situations.
To make room for these players, the Ravens released three previous undrafted signees — safety Dexter Moody (Albany State), linebacker Xavius Boyd (Western Kentucky) and cornerback Avery Patterson (Oregon). Boyd was waived-injured with a hamstring ailment.
