The Baltimore Ravens have signed undrafted Central Washington cornerback Courtney Smith, according to a league source.
Smith is a Division II standout.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder was contacted before the draft by the Ravens and has been in touch with secondary coach Chuck Pagano.
In two seasons at Central Washington, Smith registered 71 tackles, four for losses and two interceptions with a dozen pass deflections.
He runs the 40-yard dash in the the low 4.4 to high 4.3 range.
He's expected to get a look as a punt returner and kickoff returner.
Last season, Smith posted 28 tackles, three for losses, one interception and one blocked kick.
