The Baltimore Ravens have hammered out another rookie deal today.
They agreed to terms on a three-year deal with fourth-round tight end Dennis Pitta after reaching a deal earlier today with fifth-round defensive tackle Arthur Jones.
Pitta received the standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000 and $490,000 as well as a signing bonus commensurate with the NFL slotting principle.
Pitta is an athletic pass-catcher from Brigham Young who has been impressive during offseason minicamps.
PItta ranks first in school history with 221 receptions and third with 2,901 receiving yards.
The Ravens also drafted former Oregon tight Ed Dickson in the third round this spring.
Both players are slated to compete for playing time in double tight end sets behind former Pro Bowl tight end Todd Heap.
