The Washington Redskins hired Randy Jordan to coach the running backs.

Jordan played for the Oakland Raiders, so he has ties to general manager Bruce Allen.

Jordan was last the running backs coach at the University of North Carolina.

He has coached special teams for the Oakland Raiders.

Jordan played running back in the NFL for nine seasons.

That included stints with the Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jordan got the job over Earnest Byner, the former NFL running back and veteran running backs coach.
