The Washington Redskins have elevated tight ends coach Sean McVay to offensive coordinator today.

McVay was expected to be named to this position since the hire of Jay Gruden as head coach.

McVay, 27, is highly regarded as a good, young coach.

McVay has worked with Gruden twice previously, once with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and once in the UFL with the Florida Tuskers.
