Reserve quarterback traded to Washington this preseason Aaron Wilson
Traded to the Washington Redskins this preseason from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for cornerback Doug Dutch, quarterback John Beck has made a strong impression.
Enough so that the Redskins signed Beck to a two-year, $2.25 million contract extension last week, a league source with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
He's now under contract for the next three years for a total of $3.35 million.
A former Miami Dolphins second-round draft pick, the former BYU star is running behind Donovan McNabb and Rex Grossman on the depth chart.
The Ravens cut Dutch on Monday.
