The Washington Redskins have signed third-round offensive tackle Morgan Moses to a deal worth $3.05 million, including a $690,832 signing bonus.

He was the last of the Redskins' eight draft picks to agree to terms.

Moses is slated to compete for the starting right tackle position.

A 6-foot-6, 314-pounder, Moses was a four-year starter at Virginia.

Moses started his senior year at left tackle and earned second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors after starting previously at right tackle.

Moses has long arms, measuring 35 3/8 inches. Over the past decade in the NFL, only two offensive tackles that have made the Pro Bowl were under 6-foot-5 and had arms less than 33-inches long.

Moses enrolled at Virginia weighing 350 pounds and got leaner, especially over the past year. He was roughly 335 pounds at the end of the season, weighed 314 at the combine and was down to 311 at the Cavaliers' Pro Day workout.

Moses ran the 40-yard dash in 5.35 seconds at the combine and improved to 5.2 seconds at his Pro Day despite tweaking his hamstring. His vertical leap improved five inches to 26 inches at his Pro Day and his broad jump to 8-11 from 8-8 at the combine.

Moses has gotten high marks for his size, movement, character and power and has drawn comparisons to Denver Broncos offensive tackle Ryan Clady from draft analysts.

Moses graded out at 90 percent last season and averaged eight knockdowns per game, allowing two sacks last season on 506 pass attempts.
