The Redskins will release center Will Montgomery, according to a report from The Washington Post.

Montgomery has been the Redskins' starting center for the past three seasons. This move will save Washington $1.9 million in cap space.

With the Redskins signing guard Shawn Luavao, there's a chance the organization wants to move Kory Lichtensteiger to center.
