The Redskins are going to sign long snapper Kyle Nelson after a successful tryout, according to a league source.
Nelson is in his second NFL season after spending time with the Chargers a season ago, where he appeared in six games.
Nelson played college football at New Mexico State.
The Redskins also signed safety Trenton Robinson and linebacker Josh Hull, placing linebacker Bryan Kehl and long snapper Nick Sundberg on injured reserve and cut safety Jordan Pugh.
