Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush was absent from Friday's practice, according to the team's official website.
Bush practiced Wednesday and Thursday, making his absence somewhat surprising. It could either be a maintenance day or a sign that he has sustained a new injury. His status for Sunday is not immediatley known.
The Detroit News descibed the injury as being in Bush's upper leg.
If Bush is somehow unable to go, the Lions would rely on Joique Bell to fill in. Bell is dealing with a rib injury of his own but has not been listed on the injury report this week.
