Reggie Bush battled through two injuries en route to an outstanding opening-week performance.
Bush tallied 90 yards on the ground and 101 yards receiving with a touchdown. He was able to accumulate those kind of numbers even though he tweaked his groin and dislocated his thumb.
Bush even told reporters after Detroit's win over Minnesota that his thumb was facing the opposite direction.
Such is life in the NFL.
Bush was able to finish Sunday's game and was even on the field during Detroit's victory formation at the end. But there's a good chance he enters this week more sore than usual. It could decrease his practice reps.
That stated, there's no indication at the moment that Bush could be held out of next Sunday's game against Arizona.
