The Detroit Lions got some good news Friday with running back Reggie Bush returning to practice.
Bush injured his knee initially against Minnesota in the season-opener and then hurt it again last week against Arizona. Bush was unable to finish the game as a result.
Bush did not practice Wednesday and Thursday, which put his game status in doubt. Of course, just he because he participated in Friday's session, it doesn't mean he'll be available Sunday against the Redskins, either.
Earlier in the week, Bush told Detroit reporters that the injury was coming farther along than he expected.
