SAN FRANCISCO—NFL.com has reported that the 49ers will sit wide receiver Isaac Bruce tonight.

Bruce injured his ankle in practice on Tuesday and was listed as questionable for the game. It’s likely that Michael Crabtree and Josh Morgan will be the starters vs. the Chicago Bears in a must-win game for both teams. Jason Hill could also get a chance, but quarterback Alex Smith’s top target is tight end Vernon Davis.

Bruce has been battling ankle issues for most of the season.

Can't coach, can't win games & can't tell which players should be on the team to give them the best chance to win games. I don't think they are n the right mindset to play football.
