The appeal hearing for Richard Sherman has been postponed.

Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Seattle Seahawks cornerback, who was supposed to have his hearing heard on Friday, has now had it pushed back. The expectation is Sherman, who has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, will be able to play out the remainder of the season.

“It's gonna get solved and I think at the end of the day it'll get worked out fine," Sherman said, according to Silver.

Fellow starting cornerback Brandon Browner dropped his appeal of a four-game suspension last week. Browner will be eligible to return after the final regular-season game meaning he could participate in the postseason.

If Sherman’s bid for a successful appeal fails, he could be looking at a suspension to begin the 2013 season.
