The Buffalo Bills are expected to add a backup quarterback to the roster.
According to a report from ESPN.com, the Bills will be signing Jordan Palmer to the quarterback group. Palmer lost the No. 2 quarterback job to Jimmy Clausen in Chicago and was released as a result.
Palmer's addition comes shortly after the Bills decided to cut backups Dennis Dixon and Thad Lewis.
By all accounts, the Bills are pleased with starter E.J. Manuel. But Bills coach Doug Marrone was not pleased with his backups. Signing Palmer could give the group the shot in the arm it needs.
