Ex-Jets play caller makes quick landing Brad Biggs
Brian Schottenheimer had a new gig.
The former New York Jets offensive coordinator will be hired in the same role by Jeff Fisher and the St. Louis Rams. Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network reports that all that is left to do is finalize a contract.
Schottenheimer met with Fisher in Nashville, Tenn., and apparently an agreement was reached. He left the Jets on Tuesday after yet another disappointing season for them offensively. He had an interview with Alabama about becoming the offensive coordinator there but will remain in the NFL.
