The Cleveland Browns apparently made a pitch to acquire quarterback Sam Bradford from the St. Louis Rams, according to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com.
“His name came up, not from us,” Rams coach Jeff Fisher said . "Clubs inquired. But there was no consideration whatsoever on our part (to trade Bradford).”
Fisher would not confirm that the Browns, who also tried to get in position to land Robert Griffin III, were one of the teams making a play for Bradford.
