Defensive tackle had issue with Rhodes Brad Biggs
The Arizona Cardinals will sort through an on-field incident that occurred Sunday in the team’s 7-6 loss to the New York Jets involving defensive tackle Darnell Dockett and safety Kerry Rhodes.
KTAR-AM 620 reported that an incident between the two players happened late in the game and will “likely lead” to disciplinary action against Dockett.
“We generally prefer to keep internal matters like that within the team and not discuss them publicly,” Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said when asked about the matter on KTAR. “I think we're going to continue to do that going forward.”
Rhodes made two interceptions in the game and also forced a fumble.
This is an example of what can happen when seasons take a terrible turn for the wrong. After a 4-0 start, the Cardinals have lost eight consecutive games and now the status of Whisenhunt is in question.
