The paperwork snafu that set Elvis Dumervil free in Denver becomes a gain for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Per the Denver Post, Dumervil has agreed to a deal with the Ravens, where he is expected to play at outside linebacker for Baltimore in a 3-4 scheme.

Dumervil was released by the Broncos due to paperwork on a pay cut being late, causing the team to let him go.

Now that he has agreed with the Ravens, the Broncos are expected to land either John Abraham or Dwight Freeney to fill that pass rush role in Denver.

UPDATE: The Ravens have announced a deal in principle for five years with Dumervil.
