Donovan McNabb appears to be a hot topic on this fine Wednesday afternoon.
Per a report from Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the St. Louis Rams have offered the Eagles their second-round pick (No. 33 overall) in exchange for the 33-year-old McNabb.
In addition, McLane has sources that have told him McNabb would agree to the deal if it came with a long-term contract extension.
The news of the potential trade comes on the heels of a statement McNabb made on his website Wednesday saying he wanted to retire as an Eagle.
The Eagles have declined to comment on the situation.
Stay tuned. The weather outside may not be the only thing that's heating up.
