The meandering coaching search being conducted by the Philadelphia Eagles led them to a new candidate today.
The Eagles interviewed former Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Whisenhunt, of course, is the coach who took Kevin Kolb off the hands of the Eagles in a lopsided trade that benefitted Philadelphia and highlighted problems Whisenhunt had in Arizona following the retirement of Kurt Warner.
Whisenhunt is also in the mix for the job with the San Diego Chargers. He has already interviewed with them. He was considered a strong candidate in Cleveland before the Browns announced the hiring of Rob Chudzinski.
