The Philadelphia Eagles wanted to bring free-agent defensive end Aaron Kampman in for a visit on Friday but agent Neil Cornrich put up a road block, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Kampman is in Jacksonville right now visiting the Jaguars and the Seattle Seahawks have been reported to be interested. Silverstein suggests that Cornrich gave the Eagles the Heisman stiff arm because they were not willing to present a financial offer.
Teams have to be concerned about Kampman’s health. He tore an ACL in November and has been rehabilitating since surgery. Unless something changes, the Jaguars will be the frontrunner for Kampman, who is easily the top available pass rusher with Julius Peppers and Kyle Vanden Bosch off the market.

So now we know that there is really one suiter here - the Jaguars. Good thinking by Kampman's agent to limit the market. He would be better off to go back to Ted Thompson if he gets an underwhelming offer from the Jags and see what the Packers will offer. Hey, he went up on Clifton the day after once he knew the parameters. McCarthy still wants Kampman and the Packers would be able to let him come back like they did Tauscher - when ready
If he gets a great offer from the Jags then I guess he takes it.
or how great spags was as the dl which was the strength of the team went to crap with out him

If the agent doesn't wat to talk to the Eagles before they gave a dollar figure, then take his busted leg and go to Jax. Carlos Dunlap is waiting for them to draft him.
