The Eagles have placed All-Pro guard Evan Mathis on the trading block, according to a report from the NFL Network.

Mathis, 33, had one of his best seasons with the Eagles in 2013. Due $5.15 million this coming season, the Eagles could be looking to dump his salary. Conversely, the report states that Mathis wants a new deal after having a quality season.

Mathis would be the second Eagles player clouded with trade rumors. Over the past week, it was believed DeSean Jackson could be traded due to a high cap figure he has for the upcoming season.
