Cowboys WR seeing hand specialist Brad Biggs
The Dallas Cowboys have won their last two games to inch above .500 at 7-6 and remain in the playoff mix but they might have to go the rest of the way without their best wide receiver.
Dez Bryant is seeing a hand specialist this afternoon and could require surgery that would end his season, according to Nick Eatman, who writes for the team’s Web site. Bryant was reported to have nothing worse than a sprained finger on Sunday following the team’s dramatic victory at Cincinnati.
Now, quarterback Tony Romo could be forced to look elsewhere for a top target. Bryant has 75 receptions for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Coach Jason Garrett is expected to address the situation soon.
