Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a contract that would extend the star receiver's deal through the 2018 season and also pay him nearly $50 million in guaranteed money.

Fitzgerald's total package in the deal is worth $120 million over eight years, according to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.

It didn't take long for Fitzgerald's deal to begin making waves around the NFL, as Tennessee Titans holdout running back Chris Johnson immediately took notice on his Twitter account, saying “Congrats to @LarryFitzgerald god is good.”  To which Fitzgerald tweeted back "thanks CJ you up next my guy".

Johnson wants to be paid as a “playmaker,” and the money like running back DeAngelo Williams got from the Carolina Panthers ($21 million guaranteed) will not get the job done from Johnson's camp's point of view.
