Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney reportedly has a torn ligament in his ankle.

According to an ESPN report, Freeney's status is questionable for the Super Bowl due to the condition of his ankle.

Freeney suffered the injury during the final minutes of an AFC championship game victory over the New York Jets.

Freeney is reportedly working around the clock to try to get ready for the game, including using a hyperbaric chamber to speed up the healing process.

Freeney is expected to be listed as questionable on the injury report, denoting a 50-50 chance that he plays against the New Orleans Saints.

If Freeney is sidelined, there will be more pressure on Pro Bowl defensive end Robert Mathis to pick up the pass-rushing slack.

Chill out guys, freeney is going to play this game no matter what the media says, most probably he may be limited to some extended, bottom line there is no way he can miss this game.

Its all over for the Colts. Without Freeney the Saints can max protect on Mathis' side and give Brees all day to throw. I'm predicting Saints 34 Colts 27.
