Patriots tight end still expected to play in Super Bowl. Terry McCormick
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who came up limping in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against Baltimore, has some ligament damage in his ankle, says Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.
Gronkowski is still expected to play in the Super Bowl against the New York Giants.
"We’ll see how it goes with Rob, and some of the other players that are getting treatment. We’ll see how it is when we get back out on the field. We haven’t practiced in the last couple of days. We’ll see how it is when it’s time to go,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said.
