A report on Boston station WBZ-TV's website said Wednesday that New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the homicide that took place near his home in North Attleboro, Mass.

Police searched Hernandez's home Tuesday evening after a jogger found the body of a man identified as Odin Lloyd, 27, of Dorchester, Mass., was found in a clearing approximately a mile or so from the tight end's home.

An SUV registered in Hernandez's name has reportedly been linked to the case.

WBZ reported that a neighbor of Lloyd's told them that Hernandez had been in Lloyd's neighborhood because Hernandez's girlfriend's sister dated Lloyd, who was a linebacker for a semi-pro team named the Boston Bandits.

The Patriots have declined comment on the matter, as has Hernandez's agency, Athletes First.
