Report: Ireland on hot seat in Miami

With the installation of rookie Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, the Miami Dolphins appear to be looking toward the future.

But a report from the Miami Herald suggests that general manager Jeff Ireland needs to worry about the present, if he wants to have a future in South Florida with the team.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wants a winner now, and, even though the source who spoke to the newspaper, says Ross likes Ireland, his job security could come into question if the Dolphins again struggle in the AFC East.

Judging from Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans, that supposed hot seat Ireland is on might have gotten just a little warmer.
