Team still hasn't disclosed receiver's injury. Terry McCormick
The New York Jets haven't disclosed the exact nature of receiver Santonio Holmes' foot injury, but the team now fears that his season is over, according to the New York Daily News.
Though the exact diagnosis has not been revealed, it sounds like a Lis franc injury, which has been suspected and usually takes months to heal.
The Jets have already lost their best defensive player, Darrelle Revis, to a torn ACL, and without Holmes, the New York offense, which was already struggling, could be without arguably its top weapon.
