Tim Tebow apparently wants out of the New York Jets, it was reported earlier in the week.

So, according to the New York Daily News, the club will try to trade or release him in the off-season.

Tebow was passed over when Mark Sanchez was benched in favor of third-stringer Greg McElroy, which means Tebow has been limited to wildcat and occasional special teams duties while with the Jets this season.
