With Josh Gordon unable to play football for the Cleveland Browns, he's looking at potentially suiting up for a team in the Great White North.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Gordon wants a chance to play in the CFL since he can't play in the NFL for the upcoming season. However, due to his suspension, that could be a tall order.

In 2006, former NFL running back Ricky Williams was suspended a full season for violating the substance-abuse policy and went to Canada to play for the Toronto Argonauts. The CFL has since closed that loophole to allow for suspended NFL players to participate in its league.

If Gordon does want to play football to keep his skills at least somewhat sharp, perhaps spending some time in American indoor leagues would be his best bet — that is if he's eligible to play there. And what a sight that would be.
