Report: Kolb's career feared in jeopardy

The Buffalo Bills' rush to sign Matt Leinart and trade for Detroit's Thaddeus Lewis is a sign that they have significant fear about Kevin Kolb's career, says the Buffalo News.

Kolb sustained what is at least his third concussion during his NFL career Saturday night against the Washington Redskins and there is the fear apparently in the Bills' organization that it could threat the quarterback's career.

The Bills added Kolb in the off-season to serve as a mentor and perhaps temporary starter at quarterback until first-round pick E.J. Manuel is deemed ready to take over the job.

Manuel, too, is out with a knee injury, but may be on track to return by the Bills' season opener.
