ESPN says quarterback chooses Denver over Tennessee, San Francisco. Terry McCormick
ESPN is reporting that Peyton Manning has chosen to play for the Denver Broncos,.
The Broncos apparently beat out the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers for Manning, who could get a five-year, $90 million package from Denver.
In going to the Broncos, Manning now makes Tim Tebow expandable, and Denver is likely to try and find a trade partner for its 2011 starting quarterback.
The Broncos had been one of the first teams in the Manning fray, first weeding out Miami and Arizona as early contenders, and then going against the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers as late entrants in the sweepstakes.
