From ESPN.com:

Matt Moore is expected to start at quarterback for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Moore practiced with the Panthers' first team Wednesday while starter Jake Delhomme, who has a broken finger on his throwing hand, watched from the sidelines.

"I think this is a great opportunity for Matt," receiver Muhsin Muhammad said Wednesday. "Obviously, we won't do a lot of the things that Jake does well, but we'll do the things that Matt does well."

Delhomme has struggled this season, throwing a career-high 18 interceptions in 11 games.

It's about time,I think the guy has a tremendous potential . He should have been in day one ! I just wish the Off. line was all there to give him the best opportunity possible .At least we got Tampa first to get his legs under him, after that we are in troubl;e no matter who is back there at QB

Even when Jack comes back Moore should be the starter. Jake doesnt have a strong arm any more he hasnt impressed me yet. Also what do we have to lose Jack is getting old and now we just signed a 5 year deal with him he needs to leave let Moore get in the reps.
